Frapin Nevermore is inspired by Edgar Poe's poem "The Raven" and the legend of the Toaster, whom every 19th of January, on the anniversary of the poet, laid upon his grave three red roses and a flask of Cognac. A fragrance as mysterious as the elusive Toaster, Nevermore opens with notes of sharp aldehydes and spicy black pepper. The purity of sweet Rose de Mai is suffused with the fruity notes of wine and as it evolves, Saffron acknowledges a literary connection with its notes reminiscent of ink. Resting in a warm base of Cedarwood and Amber, Nevermore is a dark and enigmatic fragrance that is beautiful in its gratuitousness.

Gothic through perfume, Nevermore relies on clever fragrant chemistry to recreate the smell of rain on cool cobblestones with a metallic counterpoint. In high dosage and in conjunction with a vinous rose and saffron, metallic effects create a bloody impression.
